Mission Center
The Lamar Baptist Association Mission Center takes donations of household items, furniture, clothing for men, women, and children, shoes, and nonperishable food items and uses them to help people in need in the community. We are dedicated to serving our neighbors through the generous contributions of our local family of churches.
Donation Guidelines
Accepted Items
We gratefully accept donations of household items, clothes, shoes, food and more to support those in our community.
Drop-off Times
Donations are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30–11:30 a.m. at our mission center location.

Need Assistance?
We provide community assistance with household items, furniture, clothes, shoes, and food for those in need. To receive support, please schedule an appointment in advance.
Call 601-268-6978 on Tuesday to set up an appointment for Thursday.
Monthly Pantry Needs
January: breakfast foods (grits, oatmeal, pop tarts, syrup), soups
February: macaroni & cheese, soups
March: canned fruit, vanilla wafers
April: canned vegetables, pork & beans
May: peanut butter, jelly
June: canned chicken, canned tuna
July: 1 lb bags of dry beans and rice, toilet paper
August: soup, pop tarts, breakfast bars
September: beef ravioli, canned meat sauce
October: hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, bar soap, toilet paper)
November: canned meat (any kind), toilet paper
December: pasta sauce, noodles, soup, Ramen noodles
